Rhonda Estes is the Adoption Coordinator for The Madison County Humane Society
This is her statement...
I have done my share of volunteering throughout my life starting back as a young teenager. I volunteered in a nursing home for a long time, I've worked with the elderly, I've volunteered and donated to Riley Children's Hospital, (I believe in them with every ounce of my soul), it takes a special person to work there!!!! I volunteered with handicapped children at a special olympics event and I am currently asking for donations during my stay here at MCHS for the Womens shelter to try to help those unfortunate families that need help too. I've volunteered for the Humane Society from 1995 to 2006 before being hired here. My kids volunteered as youngsters and I couldn't be more proud of them today! My son is serving in the military and my daughter is working with the elderly and going to nursing school to help others. I must have done something right! I will continue to follow my heart and try to make a difference.

You are an inspiration to people and the work you do does not go unnoticed. The animals need you. You are their advocate. You have helped them have a voice and have protected them for as long as i can remember. Mom You are amazing and have given me the strength that I have today. Yes you are definitely on the crazy side but wheres the fun in being mundane? Right? So keep doing what you are doing because I know its your passion but also because them furry babies need you. Janine thank you for doing this book. ill take 2 when your done.
